Unza Umar

Learning Experience Designer & Developer

I design learning experiences that turn complex workflows, products, and human decisions into clear, interactive practice.

Selected Learning Samples

A few examples of how I approach different learning problems, from multi-system workflow practice to judgment-based scenarios and audience-centered behavioral health training.

Interpretation Request Simulator

Multi-system workflow simulation

A standalone training micro-site that gives learners a safe place to practice coordinating interpretation services from start to finish. They work across the same systems, handoffs, and workflow changes they’ll face on the job, without touching real member data or booking a real interpreter.

Escalation Response Practice

Scenario-based judgment practice

A lightweight web app, built inside an Articulate Rise module, that asks learners to evaluate realistic member interactions across chat, phone, and email and determine the appropriate response. Contextual feedback focuses on the cues and judgment behind each decision, rather than simple right-or-wrong recall.

Supporting Commercial Airline Pilots

Audience-centered behavioral health training

A multimedia lesson built in Articulate Rise to help care teams understand the unique pressures and concerns that may shape how Delta pilots approach mental health care. Storytelling, audio, and practical examples connect that context to more effective ways of framing and communicating support.

Management Consultation: Your Path to Readiness

Clinician enablement for a new consultation audience

An Articulate Rise lesson from a larger curriculum that helps experienced clinicians adapt skills they already use in Care Navigation to a new responsibility: consulting with managers about employee concerns. The experience connects existing clinical judgment to new resources, scope, practical support options, and a broader path of practice and readiness.
